The Master PHotoESPAÑA 2023 is an initiative of La Fábrica and is framed in the context of the PHotoESPAÑA Festival, a recognized benchmark that works to promote and help artists and managers linked to the field of international photography. Since January 2022, the Master series has been under the responsibility of the Fundación Contemporánea team, a foundation created by La Fábrica in 2009 to develop training programs that value the work of all professionals in the visual arts and Culture.
Since October 2022, the PHE Master launched a renewed teaching program, attentive to the relationships of photography with the physical and virtual space, the classic and new materialities of image production, curatorial thought trends in biennials and festivals, (un)located digital markets, professional contact networks and the management of places and resources for the publication and dissemination of projects. The Master series brings together professionals from the international photographic scene in the fields of creation, management, publication, market, conservation and archive.
Edgar Martins is keynote speaker at this year’s edition of Master PHotoESPAÑA. During this event, which is scheduled to take place online, on 20.03.2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the artist will be presenting his latest works, including the project he has been producing in Libya over the past 4 years.
